Other health benefits include reduced risk for heart disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, depression, Parkinson’s disease, and gallstones. Match tea is considered one of the healthiest drinks on earth by many cultures including traditional Chinese medicine practitioners. It comes from young green tea leaves before they open fully to expose a dark interior filled with antioxidants. Traditional Japanese legend suggests that drinking just two cups can increase your life expectancy by up to 20 years! Now that’s an anti-aging tip I can drink to!

7) Yerba Mate Tea

This tea is available in a variety of forms, but it’s traditionally made from dried leaves of yerba mate, an evergreen tree that grows in South America. The leaves are steeped in hot water to make a sweet tea that’s low in calories. Yerba mate has been shown to increase energy and boost metabolism slightly more than green tea, which makes it easier to lose weight.
